... in 2011, Vienna celebrates ten years of the MUSEUMSQUARTIER area, and even though the institution's director left a few days ago to join the ministry of foreign affairs in a top position, celebrations will of course go ahead as planned. Now, one of the art events that will take place in the anniversary year is a special PLASTIC PUBLIC ART PROJECT outside the MQ, where temporary installations consisting of huge sculptures created by renowned artists and entirely made of plastic (or whatever you want to call it) will be put up, at three different moments of the year, the first pop-up-installation will be there from May 3 to 8 ... dix ans après l'ouverture du soi-disant MUSEUMSQUARTIER à Vienne, logiquement, il est venu le moment pour fêter cet anniversaire.
