... obviously I had some kind of cinema weekend.
And indeed, this film, BOCK FOR PRESIDENT, is astounding. And astounding it is thanks to the appearance and special personality of Ute Bock, and all the amazing things she does.
Recognising the outstanding quality of this woman, I would like to hope that we can all discover within ourselves a little bit of the courage and commitment she so impressively embodies.

its premiere during viennale was shown at audimax, in context of the protests at university. i saw it over there and just have to add: ute bock is the real punk-rocker at heart!
