SWEET fashion

... some days ago, I received this very fascinating fashion news item: Austrian fashion wunderkind (well, "kind", but you know...) Lena Hoschek, who I recently featured as the author of a cheesy and mountainous style blog, recently dedicated her creative might to the world-famous sweet producer PEZ. Probably when brwosing through images from the PEZ archive of vintage advertising motifs, Mrs Hoschek must have found the 1950s inspiration which totally matches her personal fashion aesthetics AND current fashion trends - and created new party dresses for the stylish "PEZ ladies" (who I have never met, but that doesn't mean anything - and may be about to change?) ...

... après le fromage, les bonbons : c'est un peu ça, le résumé de la nouvelle coopération dans laquelle s'est engagée la designer autrichienne Lena Hoschek (dont le travail a été très bien reçu par le public de la semaine de la mode à Berlin). Bon, cet été elle a fait découvrir son talent narratif aux lecteurs du blog Alma
- et maintenant, ce sont les robes des animatrices pour la marque de bonbons PEZ. Tandis que le reste du monde regarde vers des projets du calibre "Lanvin pour H&M", en Autriche, c'est l'univers de la bouffe qui attire les designers. Nous en déduisons quelque chose ? Eh ben non, rien du tout ...


... nuova revelazione al centro della moda in Austria: dopo il formaggio, le caramelle. La tradizionale e molto famosa ditta PEZ, conosciuta per le sue caramelle e, soprattutto, per i piccoli dispositivi di plastica che sono spesso decorati con motivi di film conosciuti (tipo Star Wars e Paperino), ha invitato la designer a creare degli abiti per le signorine che rappresentano il marchio. Vabbe', abbiamo visto tutto di cui abbiamo bisogno. Domanda: il prossimo passo, logico se non mi sbaglio, sarebbe di disegnare una collezione di dispositivi PEZ con motivi fashion - vero? ...
