SIGNER = BRANCUSI, horizontally ?

... today is the last day of this year's Art Basel Miami Beach fair. The Vienna-based gallery Martin Janda was among the exhibitors - and showed works by Svenja Deininger (excellent, usually!), Jakob Kolder - and Roman Signer. Signer, another one of those fabulously funny Swiss artists besides Fischli & Weiss, was present with his "Sand Column" from 2008, which, in a way, reminded me of Constantin Brancusi. Horizontally, of course.

... la galerie d'art viennoise Martin Janda était parmi les institutions qui participaient à l'édition actuelle de la foire d'art Art Basel Miami Beach, laquelle ferme ces portes aujourd'hui (décalage horaire... elle devrait encore être en cours...). J'ai adoré le travail "Colonne de sable" par Roman Signer - qui me rappelle un peu la "Colonne sans fin" de Brancusi - en version horizontale, s'entend ...

... il lavoro di Roman Signer che fu portato a Miami Beach per esser mostrato all'edizione di Art Basel M.B. del 2010, mostrato dalla galleria viennese Martin Janda, e intitolato "Colonna di sabbia", mi ricorda un po' la "Colonna senza fine" del leggendario Constantin Brancusi - vero o no ? ...
