... the article for which I had met Rick Owens in his splendidly beautiful Parisian palais recently came out, and even though I'm not going to translate it (tiresome! long!!), I find it most interesting that Mr Rick Owens, the lord chancellor of fashion's dark side, is soon to become a Frenchman. Being married to Michelle Lamy, of course, entitled him to apply for French citizenship. And apparently, it's only a matter of time before he will officially be Monsieur Owens. And he didn't even have to take a language test to convince French authorities that he would able to "fit in" ... ça fait déjà un moment mais quand j'ai rencontré Mister Rick Owens pour une interview qui a été publiée il y a peu, le fameux, fabuleux créateur californien qui vit et travaille dans un palais tout à fait grandiose au cœur de Paris, juste derrière l'Assemblée Nationale, il m'a raconté qu'il devienrait bientôt citoyen français - n'est-ce pas fascinant ? Surtout si nous tenons compte du fait qu'il n'y a pas exactement énormément de nouveaux designers parisiens de nationalité française, pour une fois, le Mister devenu Monsieur va enrichir la scène archi-française (et ce, même s'il a pu esquiver l'obligation de prendre des cours de langue pour prouver qu'il sera capable de s'intégrer comme il faut, venu le jour ) ...
